Foundation for Roanoke Valley
On May 5, 2009, the Foundation for Roanoke Valley unveiled their multi-year 1.5 million dollar Belonging Initiative. The foundation grants will offer funds to several organizations to be used to assist the elderly. Rebuilding Together - Roanoke is proud to announce we will receive a $100,000 grant for 2009. These funds will allow urgently needed repairs to homes on a year around basis.
With our first year's grant RTR made needed repairs to 21 homes. Our assistance exceeded expections for the year. The Foundation was very pleased with our ability to deliver results. RTR is happy to announce that we received the second year funding.

RTR will evaluate requests for repairs and provide the materials for World Changer projects. The work week for the Roanoke Valley is July 19-26, 2009. RTR welcomes this opportunity. Our programs blend very well an will make an excellent partnership.
